How to Participate
Login to your FME Community account and visit the contest page to register your balloon. Launch your balloon manually from anywhere in the United Kingdom or let the system launch it within 12 hours of registering.
Over the next two weeks, FME Flow will simulate your balloon’s travel using current weather conditions. Either let your balloon go where the wind takes it or manually navigate it by issuing commands to change the altitude level and wind speed.
Earn points for different achievements, like flying over different countries, and lose points if you fly too close to an airport. The player whose balloon scores the most points by the end of the contest wins! Be sure to read the official rules for all the ways you can earn points.
Prizes include beautiful MOVA Globes, Amazon gift cards, and FME swag packs.
