As an instructor at an accredited academic institution, you can receive free licenses for FME Form and FME Flow to educate students.
Integrate FME as a pre-lab exercise, a full assignment, or a structured learning path. All use must be for educational purposes at an accredited institution.
This license is for educators at accredited institutions. If your use is tied to paid programs or corporate delivery, our grant team can help point you in the right direction.

You need to be an instructor at an accredited post-secondary institution incorporating FME into your teaching or curriculum. The license is for educational use only and is not available for commercial training programs delivered for revenue.
Yes. You can integrate FME into your courses using FME Academy materials, tutorials, and learning paths as-is or adapt them under our Training Terms of Use. You can also work with Safe Software to schedule a live training session for your students by contacting train@safe.com.
It depends on your institution’s setup. Some schools receive onsite lab licenses for the whole class. In other cases, the instructor receives a license to prepare course materials and students apply individually for their own free 4-month Student Use License. The FME Grant Team will work with you during the approval process to find the right fit.
You can still apply as an individual instructor.
