The Remote Engines Service for Snowflake is available starting with FME Flow version 2025.1.

Yes. You can launch the trial version of the Remote Engines Service from the Marketplace and use it free for 30 days; you still need a valid FME Flow license for orchestration.

You must have (at minimum):

  • A Snowflake ACCOUNTADMIN role to deploy the app and configure permissions.
  • A service user in Snowflake authenticated via key-pair.
  • A licensed FME Flow environment.
