A telecommunications provider needed to provide their internal data users a way to easily manipulate and extract databases, enable them, and produce maps and reports for spatial business intelligence.
Deploying FME, they built workflows that can be re-used as needed, providing users with autonomy and flexibility. Users integrate data from multiple sources, such as customer call logs, integrate it with network coverage, external data such as demographics or traffic, and create analyses and reports that are used for making business decisions.
The client has expanded their use of the FME Platform to manage aspects of the wireless network including call drops, signal location, market intelligence, customer churn, site selection for new wireless technologies and towers, and other spatially relevant business decisions.
