With our 2025 Peak of Data & AI conference just around the corner, here at Safe Software, we are excited to welcome FME customers, partners and data integration enthusiasts from across the globe to the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Seattle, Washington for an action-packed week of networking, expert-led sessions, and inspiring keynote talks from innovative leaders.

1. The Seattle Center
Developed for the 1962 World Fair, this campus is conveniently located within a short distance from the Hyatt Regency Hotel, boasting 74-acres of civic and social space. Located within the complex is the 43-story tall Space Needle, one of Seattle’s most iconic structures, providing breathtaking views across the city as well as the mountain ranges that create the perfect backdrop for any photo. Back on the ground, there is an abundance of international dining options to choose from in the food hall. Enjoy a snack or a full meal, all while taking in the scenic surroundings of the international fountain, the incredible art installations, the world’s first carbon-neutral sports arena, and an array of esteemed theatres and concert spaces.

2. Downtown Seattle Waterfront
Fastly becoming one of the number one social destinations, Seattle’s downtown waterfront has undergone an amazing transformation over the last few decades. Pedestrian-first urban planning has transformed this space into a hub of bike promenades, playgrounds and parks.
We highly recommend taking a ride on the 175-foot-tall Seattle Great Wheel, providing spectacular views of the city and the surrounding islands. After an exhilarating journey in the sky, why not dive into the depths of the Seattle Aquarium, featuring exhibits on local wildlife, as well as a brand-new wing devoted to the Indo-Pacific’s Coral Sea? Speaking of wings, you can then buy a ticket to Wings over Washington, an interactive theatre experience that virtually transports visitors to some of Washington State’s top landmarks, including Mt Rainier. After all that excitement, patrons can chill out at the Miner’s Landing eateries and souvenir shops, conveniently located on Pier 57.

3. The Museums of Seattle
Featuring over 42 museums, Seattle has become one of the world’s top cultural hubs, with a rich history in art, science and industrial revolution. 4. Pike Place Market
It’s no surprise that Pike Place Market is often referred to as “the soul of Seattle.” From the iconic retro red sign to the gum wall, the original Starbucks coffee shop, and a diverse selection of eateries, vendors, and stalls, there is enough to do at Pike Place to fill a whole day!

5. Pioneer Square
As the original downtown Seattle area, Pioneer Square offers an abundance of Romanesque revival architecture, as well as plenty of trendy shops, bars, and restaurants.
Make time to stop at the Smith Tower, Seattle’s earliest skyscraper, completed in 1914, boasting manual elevators that will lead you to a 35-story observatory and a prohibition-themed bar, fulfilling any vintage-seekers dream. Want to be closer to the ground? Why not try going sub-surface with a tour of Seattle’s underground, giving you access to the once-infamous red light district and vibrant LGBTQIA+ history, with engaging story walks led by local historians.

6. Seattle Chinatown
Seattle’s Chinatown is unlike any other in the world – featuring a giant 45-foot tall gate, decorated with over 8000 imported tiles, this is one of the most culturally rich and diverse neighbourhoods in the city. Known for being the go-to spot for the best food in town, Chinatown will fill every culinary desire, from soup dumplings to world-class pho and noodle spots.
We highly recommend visiting the festive Hing Hay Park, boasting beautiful landscapes and iconic structures, this is the perfect place for a picnic in the city. Round off your trip with a visit to the impressive Uwajimaya supermarket, the perfect place to grab a selection of Asian snacks and souvenirs.

7. Seattle Public Library
For attendees looking for a quieter experience, we highly recommend visiting the stunning public central library—it’s no wonder Seattle was designated a “UNESCO City of Literature!”
As an incredible piece of modernist architecture, and boasting over 2.4 million books, the central library offers over 10 floors of tranquil space – any reader’s dream. Check out the iconic views of Elliot Bay, and even take a self-guided mobile tour of the library by dialling 206.686.8564.
The city also features an abundance of independent bookstores, all of which specialize in specific genres for all backgrounds and interests, including poetry and culinary experiences!

8. Seattle’s Theatre District
Seattle’s theatre district is of incredible historical significance, with an abundance of spaces dedicated to plays, musicals, cabarets, and concerts, some dating back to the early 1900s. 10. Explore Seattle’s Nature Scene
For those who prefer to explore the outdoors, Seattle has you covered – with over 800 parks and recreational spaces to choose from, you can truly be at one with nature in this American megalopolis!
We highly recommend a trip to the iconic Discovery Park, located just north of Downtown and boasting incredible views across the waters of Seattle, and home to one of the many dramatic lighthouses that the city has to offer!
