It is free, and there is no charge per user or device. It connects to FME Flow. The architecture of FME Realize is such that the load on FME Flow is not related to the number of connected devices but rather to the number of connected devices requesting data simultaneously.
FME Realize is a component of the FME Platform and is free for unlimited users or devices. You can download FME Realize from the Apple App Store and start using it immediately. FME Realize requires FME Flow 2025.1+.

FME Realize is powered by AR Apps from FME Flow, so it requires an FME Flow environment to create and serve experiences. FME Form is where the FME Realize data flows are built. Once published to FME Flow, your immersive AR experiences come alive.
The level of accuracy is based on the accuracy of your data and the accuracy of the GPS that you have available to your device. We have made it easy for you to correct any device inaccuracies in the field by allowing you to drag, rotate and lock the data into place. Connecting an additional GPS to your device with better accuracy can improve this experience, but data alignment using the method described above will still be needed.
No. FME Realize requires an internet connection. If you lose connection mid-session, you can keep viewing the model, but no other functionality is available.
While some field environments may have limited connectivity, most users can access the full functionality of FME Realize using mobile data or satellite internet (such as Starlink).
At this time, FME Realize is available on iOS only. There are no plans to make it available on Android or other platforms. That said, we’re monitoring interest in Android and other platforms.

His fax number is still operational and his office shelves are filled with paper files, plus a floppy disk or two (or twenty).
